Precision and expertise are here with the latest Alienware product, the Aurora ALX. This is the fastest computer on the market at the moment and boasts some awesome effects in MicroATX. Perfect for gaming, music, and more day-to-day computer tasks, the Aurora ALX will have you hooked. With the familiar alien head logo embedded at the top of the system, and its electric blue lights, this computer will look cool anywhere.

Specs

The Aurora ALX runs on an Intel Core i7 975 Extreme Edition processor, making it incredibly powerful and able to reach speeds of 3.6GHz. The extreme dual graphics of ATI Crossfire, NVIDIA SLI conveyed in HD resolution are incredible. The 8MB cache, hyper-threading, and Intel turbo boost technology will have you gaming for hours, but luckily the cooling down system will prevent over-heating. CPU liquid cooling allows for silent gaming, and is twice as quiet as normal fans on other PCs.

New releases and updates are downloaded straight into the system through the command centre. This continuously customises your system. The command centre allows access to other hardware including AlienFX lighting effects, AlienFusion power management and Alienware thermal controls. It also features different lighting effects for your machine, letting you personalise the computer with your favourite colour.

Design

The Aurora ALX looks like something from outer space because of its innovative design. The front panel consists of the USB port and audio cables, so no need to fiddle at the back. This also avoids tangling of wires, keeping your desk neat. The back panel has a nifty feature – with the press of a button the back will light up, making it easier to find those tricky plug-ins.

Gaming

The Aurora ALX is built for gaming. The effects, speed and altogether stability of the system is an important component for those heavy gamers out there. This machine can be pushed to the limits, maintaining its strong performance. It has been tested with some of the most hardcore, technically advanced games, and still came out on top. This shows that it beats the rest when it comes to state of the art gaming technology.

Perfect for those who love gaming, priced at £1,899, it is expensive, but if you can afford it, it’s worth every penny.
