The eviGroup Paddle tablet computer is sold either with Windows 7 Home Premium and Seline10 or without an operating system. EviGroup boasts that its artificial intelligence software, Seline, supports text, spoken and handwriting control of a PC.

A secretary is included in the deal

Seline can perform various tasks, such as opening documents or applications, voice recognition and more. However, if having your very own personal assistant is not for you, you can simply turn it off.

More options

Another option offered to buyers is the choice of a 160/250/320GB hard drive or a 16/32GB SSD.

What’s inside?

Powered by a 1.6 GHz Atom processor, the tablet comes with 3G, Wi-fi, one VGA port, three USB ports, a 3.5mm headphone and microphone ports, a built-in webcam, multicard reader, and removable lithium-ion battery.

Scale offers touchscreen functionality

Its 10.1-inch LED-backlit touchscreen interface is called Scale and is powered by a GMA 950 graphics card courtesy of Intel. It has SSD storage and 32GB of Flash.

A little bit of admin is involved

To order the tablet, buyers will have to visit Manager Nicolas Ruiz’s blog and state that they want the operating system in English.

While the Paddle looks very fancy, so does its price. And with similar products like the Archos 9 PC Tablet and the iPad, it has competition to be the best PC tablet on the market. Not everyone will be willing to dish out the cash.
