Acer launches the Aspire 4920 Notebook PC

The laptop is the next in the line from the Gemstone series, and comes with an attractive 14.1 inch WXGA LCD widescreen display powered by Acer CrystalBrite technology, together with a resolution of 1280X800 pixels. It has a capacity to store 358 MB of dynamic video footage. Also in the offering is a wireless LAN connectivity with integrated Wi-Fi, a webcam with microphone, as well as the highly acclaimed 8X DVD writer; which is double layered and has the capacity to burn both formats of the disk, i.e. DVD+/-.
Weighing less than 2.6 kg, the notebook PC has a 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 with a speed of 2.0 GHz. It consists of a 2MB+2MB L2 cache with the ability to support the Intel 64 architecture. The new notebook PC launched within the gemstone series grabs attention with an Intel GM965 express chipset, which supports 3D graphics, along with 1024- MB SDRAM and a 160 GB hard drive. The latest Intel Pro/Wireless 3945ABG1 is another addition in the huge list of value added features as it allows the notebook to be connected with other external devices. Also adding glamour to the notebook is the AC/MC 97 soundcard.
The audio department is no less electric with a DOLBY certified surround sound system, a couple of 3D sonic speakers, and two microphones already built-in, thus ensuring an uninterrupted flow of sound. The 1.3 megapixel Crystal Eye webcam paves the way for some smooth video conferencing.
The Aspire 4920 notebook PC also comes with a 5-in-1 media card reader providing leverage for the usage of various digital cards. Acer offers a one year warranty and has put yet another solid and quality model on the market with this laptop.
