Dell launches the Studio 15 notebook PC
By Jenny • Jul 11th, 2008 • Category: Laptops, Mobile Computer NewsMichael Dell and his team of engineers have come out with another one of their impressive innovations as they get ready to launch the Studio 15 notebook PC with all the state-of-the-art facilities required by a professional or by a domestic user. The new laptop from the studio series has been themed on the famous 15-inch Studio 15 worth $1,250. It is said to be a bit on the heavier side and also a bit thicker in comparison to the XPS series which was also launched by the same company.
Coming to the configurations of the notebook PC, the notebook is driven by the 2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 Processor and a hard drive of 250 GB worth storage space with a transfer speed of 5400 rpm. The operating system used on the notebook PC is by no doubt the Vista Home Premium by Microsoft, as the association between Dell and Microsoft goes back a long way. The chipset that has been used is the Intel GM 965.
The laptop is highlighted by the spectacular 15.4 inch screen and a variety of options in colour which offers a delightful view. The laptop has been given an angular look in comparison to the XPS which looks more on the rounder side.
Being a mid sized laptop the notebook has a capacity to play videos upto three hours which makes it pretty reasonable. The user can contact the customer service 24X7 over the phone and also can use the official website for knowledge base and driver downloads.
