As sleek and stylish as they come

You will be flared by the exterior of the Acer laptop which includes a dark blue piano finish plastic cover that also contains the Acer logo and SignalUp mark. The laptop interior is even more impressive with matte plastic palm rest and touch pad and the small line indentations that make them look as one continuous surface. Besides looking good, this particular design of the notebook also makes its maintenance easy and simple. There are additional sets of button located on both sides of the keyboard, where the left set is dedicated to communication controls and the right one is meant for multimedia. The multimedia touch panel included in the Acer Aspire 7738G notebook has a satisfactory precision and sensitivity and the Acer Power Smart button located at the upper right corner offers an easier and faster power profile change. The power button provided with blue LED border is located in upper left corner. There is a uniquely styled notebook keyboard where keys are separated by a small gap and includes unnoticeable bends which provides your typing tasks more comfortable.

The resolution of the main display is 1600 x 900 pixels which together with the display ratio of 16:9 provide a visual treat to movie lovers. Thanks to the brightness of the display screen, you can get a clear and distinct view even when set at minimum level.

High-end performance matches its impressive exterior

Just like the exterior features and the display, the performance delivered by the Acer Aspire 7738G is also worth admiring thanks to its Core 2 Duo T6400 processor that provides a clock speed of 2 GHz which is enough for most of the daily activities on the notebook. The graphics card incorporated into the notebook is the NVIDIA GeForce GT130M that delivers high performances with lower power consumption. An interesting feature of the Acer Aspire 7738G is the two hard drives that offer you more storage space for your multimedia media files and documents. The 4GB DDR3 RAM provides a superfast working speed and smoothly opens up multiple web pages and applications side-by-side and without any problem. Cooling solution included into the notebook is quite efficient in eliminating the unpleasant noise and the noise generated by the cooling system itself is quite acceptable even when the machine is under full load for a prolonged period of time.

High quality sound to complement the video entertainment

The sound delivery of the notebook has been taken care of by the full-range speakers that produce an outstanding sound quality. Adding more to the delight is the Tuba CineBass subwoofer implemented into the notebook that can make even low frequency sounds noticeable to your ears. The volume control touch slider gives an added comfort while watching a movie and also adds a touch of class to the enjoyment session. It should be noted, however, that some users have reported a certain sound issue with buzz and vibrations. Now onto the laptop’s connector ports.
