Lenovo has introduced a new piece of technology, with which you can carry your workstation anywhere. The ThinkPad W700 is a 17-inch wide mobile workstation with a colour calibrator that not only comes with the first built-in digitizer, but also possesses a whopping 8 GB of high speed DDR3 memory.

The ThinkPad W700 includes game changing technology along with the latest NVIDIA Quadro FX mobile graphics. Moreover, the mobile workstation optionally incorporates dual hard drives with RAID configurations, in addition to amazing multimedia capabilities and an optional Blu-ray DVD burner. These outstanding features make the ThinkPad W700 the ideal mobile workstation with the perfect combination of performance and technology. This laptop is a veritable beast, and, with double the RAM of the high-end Asus M70, it will outshine most of the competition when it’s released. It is a great gadget for all high performance users, such as digital photographers, due to its built-in colour calibrator; which automatically adjusts the colour display with great speed and accuracy. Additionally, the ThinkPad W700’s digitiser will also help the digital content creators or users to easily configure images.

The other amazing qualities of the ThinkPad W700 include its BIOS and a fingerprint reader, hard drives with full-disk encryption and a smartcard reader. The product will provide an unmatched colour quality and colour intensity, as well as extreme brightness to cater to the needs of a modern user.

We can expect the ThinkPad W700 to be available in the first half of September for a starting price of $2,978 (or around £1,500).
