Asus is going to add a new 10 inch netbook to its Eee PC line named 1002HA netbook. This one is an upgraded or restyled version of the Asus 1001HA, which was leader in its time.

Like most hi-end Asus netbooks, the 1002HA is also expected to have a captivating configuration and enough juice to handle resource hungry tasks. It will come with a 1.6 GHz Atom processor, 1GB of RAM and a hefty 160GB hard drive. The design will be captivating too. The design of 1002HA is same as the existing Asus Eee PC S101. This netbook will have a curved and pseudo-brushed metal external shell, front mounted speakers and more compact shape. The two cell battery (instead of the six cell batteries used in other Asus ultra portable computers) assures that the users don’t face any problem while carrying the device around due to the reduced weight.

Some other important features include Wi-Fi connectivity, USB ports and a built-in card reader. The company hasn’t reveled too much about this gadget, but as far as the performance is concerned, it will be an ideal computing device to have. It is believed that the 1002HA netbook will come with an attached price tag of €449, which is equivalent to around £360.
