HP Elitebook 2530P: Ultra Portable yet High Performance
By Jenny • Dec 29th, 2008 • Category: LaptopsHP Elitebook 2530P is worth every pound you spend. It is a laptop which is ultra portable and comes with many unique additional features. Firstly, this notebook looks stunning in black and silver, not to mention the fact that it delivers an outstanding performance as well.
As you start using it, you instantly notice the two keyboard light and pointing device sets. Continue using this machine and you find it is the perfect laptop which means business all the way. Working on Windows Vista Business, this awesome laptop is priced at $2499 (around £1,700).
The HP Elitebook 2530P comes with a CPU SL 9400 with a capacity of Core 2 Duo 1.86 GHz and a 3GB RAM. Unfortunately the onboard 80 GB hard drive clearly leaves something to be desired, although the smaller hard drive does allow for the laptop to be more compact.
The laptop comes with standard disclaimers such as its inability to support 3D game play due to the squeaky speakers and integrated video memory. As with a lot of other laptops, the Hewlett-Packard HP EliteBook 2530p does not sport a high definition Blu-ray drive. But it does support the standard DVD writer. Other than this, any application in entertainment and business is handled well by this interesting little laptop.
An interesting feature includes all the rubberised mouse buttons which come with each pointing device, making for convenient usage. The size of the EliteBook makes it easy to carry it around on your backpack or brief case.
As compared to other models of ultraportables currently in the market, the EliteBook outperforms almost every model other than the pricey Sony VAIO VGN – Z598U. The EliteBook also features a power pack which extends to about an inch at the back of the machine. With a convenient power gauge placed externally and a state of art keyboard, this ultraportable laptop is clearly a cut above the rest.
