The Vodafone K3760 USB Stick is the slimmest, smallest and lightest product from Opticon to date. It measures only 74.8 x 26 x 12 mm and weighs a mere 22g. It is even slimmer than other USB modem sticks currently offered by Vodafone, such as the Vodafone 00370052. The device has also got a new sliding mechanism which protects the USB connector. Qualcomm 7225 chipset has been used as the base for the K3760 and also incorporates tri-band mobile broadband (HSPA) for providing global network access. With a download rate of up to 7.2 Mbps and a 5.76 Mbps upload rate, provided the network connection is good with high bandwidth, the USB Modem stick can achieve very fast speeds. A microSD card slot is also embedded into the modem, which supports secure data storage of up to 8GB. The new modem will surely bring a revolution in network access and data storage.
Jan Callewaert, CEO of Opticon said, “This new USB modem and the HSPA ExpressCard announced recently demonstrate that Opticon continues to deliver high-performance devices that meet the specific needs of the world’s leading mobile communications group.”
