A New RIDATA USB Drive: Meets all Expectations
By Wilson • Nov 28th, 2008 • Category: USBAdvanced Media, Inc., the well known manufacturer and marketer of the RIDATA brand of recordable CDs, DVDs, electronic storage devices and digital media accessories, has launched a new range of unique RIDATA USB drives that come with an integrated Micro SD slot. That means now you can not only use the flash drives to manage PC data but can also deal with the files stored on a mobile device or any other MicroSD or MicroSDHC enabled device on the go. Another exciting feature of the RIDATA USB drive is its large storage capacity of 8GB.
This flash drive offers all the functions you would expect, including the creation of password protected sectors, disk de-fragmentation and true Plug n Play, just like other popular flash drives such as the Sony Micro Vault Ultra Mini. Moreover, the RIDATA USB Drive is compatible with both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 standards and can be used on systems running on Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP, Linux Kernel 2.4 or later and Mac OS 8.6 or later. However the users of Win 98 have to install the drivers before using the drive.
President of Advanced Media, Harvey Liu said, “Cell phones, PDA’s and other small devices are now using MicroSD or MicroSDHC cards for additional storage. Now users can easily download the content saved on their mobile device to our USB stick.”
