Nokia E75: Slider Smartphone complete with GPS and Geo-tagging

After becoming a household name and establishing its credibility, FInnish mobile giant Nokia has really played a lot with technology and has created a lot of masterpieces. One of its latest creations is the Nokia E75, a slide open communicator device. The QWERTY form plays a good part in presenting an attractive Symbian turf. The 2.4 inch TFT 16M colour screen is the highlight and produces QVGA resolution. The keyboard is a four row side slide arrangement which has everything required for sending mails, messages and navigating. The GSM feature in it is quad band and the 3 is tri band. The CPU is ARM11 369 Hz with the audio jack being a standard 3.5mm device. There is a microSD card slot and a 4GB microSD card that comes with the package. Bluetooth connectivity ensures that data is smoothly transferred around.

The camera that has been used in the Nokia E75 is a 3.2 Mega Pixel auto focus camera which has a dedicated shutter key. The Wi Fi facility is 802.11b/g and has UPnP technology. The mobile phone has a GPS receiver that is built in along with Nokia maps that have voice assisted navigation. This voice service can be used for the first three months. Connectivity is enhanced with the presence of the USB port. The Nokia E75’s battery cover is made up of steel and software like the office document editor give the phone cutting edge. WebEx Conferencing Services alls set to hit Smartphones

There is really good news for mobile professionals who wish to keep in touch with their customers or other important parties all the time; or for those who just can’t afford to miss any appointment, presentation or meeting while on the move. Wev conferencing is going to be mobile this April. The Cisco WebEx Meeting Center web and audio conferences will soon be accessible on a variety of smartphones including the BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry Curve 8900, BlackBerry 9500 Storm, Nokia E71, Nokia E75, Nokia N97, other Nokia E series and N series smartphones and Samsung Blackjack II.

This will enable the users to participate in audio and web conferencing via 3G or Wi-Fi. They will be able to attend meetings, presentations and view applications and shared desktops with live annotations. All the hosts of Cisco WebEx meeting applications including Meeting Center, Training Center, and Event Center will invite the attendees via a simple text message. The attendees can then reply to the invitation via SMS itself to join the meeting.

Users will have to launch the Cisco WebEx Meeting Center on their smartphone web browser before they can receive web conferencing and integrated audio 3G or a combination of 2G and Wi-Fi connections. The users will also be able to attend scheduled meetings, view presentations and even desktops. The invitations that have to be sent via SMS are free of cost but for hosting and scheduling a web conference from a computer it is necessary to have a host account on Cisco WebEx Meeting Center.
