Probably its biggest selling point, the Expo is the first smartphone to have a built-in Pico video projector. This allows users to be able to give presentations on the go, directly from the phone, with no other hardware required. With a projection distance of close to 2.5m, the eXpo is ideal for business people who need to give simple presentations in situations in which there isn´t a full-size projector available, and for consumers interested in sharing their photos or watching videos. The projector can also be used to display web pages and videos.

The eXpo comes fully loaded with Windows Mobile 6.5 and the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email and calendar applications, allows users to edit and create documents in most popular formats. It´s also the first LG phone to use the powerful new Snapdragon 1 GHZ processor, providing simultaneous access to multiple applications.

Security
Another unique feature ideal for business users is the phone´s Smart Sensor technology, developed by AuthenTec, that utilises biometric fingerprint recognition. This provides the ultimate level of personal security, and safeguards all of your sensitive contacts, emails, memos, and photos.
Extra features
This 3G phone utilises a 16-million colour, 3.2-inch touchscreen and a full-size slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It´s equipped with a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with flash and digital zoom, a MircoSD card slot supporting up to 16 GB, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR (Enhanced Data Rate), and Wi-fi.
Pricing and network information for the eXpo 820 is not yet available, but the smartphone is expected to be released in UK markets during the first quarter of 2010.
