If you are a person who does not believe in being loyal to only one brand of mobile phones and have a fetish for experimentation, then we have found the perfect mobile for you. The new Sonim XP1 has the ability to function under the most hostile surroundings imaginable and to endure extreme weather conditions. The XP1 stands for extreme performance and it has been designed to even withstand a stream of water being dropped on it from a height of 1.7 metres. The mobile phone is also guaranteed to survive if kicked around or run over by cars. The mobile will remain unscathed even if subjected to a grinding in a cement mixer.

Apart from its toughness, the mobile phone also has other quality features. These include a scratch resistant display, a Nexperia 6120 platform provided by Philips and Bluetooth v1.2 which allows for the smooth transfer of data. The speaker phones are quite loud and the phone can house up to 1000 messages. It can also play either MP3 or WAV ring tones. The device has a 10 MB flash memory and a 2.5 mm audio jack. It uses a Lithium Ion 1100 mAh battery and the Sonim XP1 comes with a 3 year warranty in case it should happen to succumb to the cement mixer. The price tag attached to the phone is slightly on the higher side, but hardly a concern for those adventurous users who want their mobile phone to be as indestructible as possible.
