If you are hunting for a smartphone, then the Asus P526 might be perfect for you. Despite its being somewhat unfamiliar, the P526 is actually a decent phone, with all the specifications to make it keep pace with the competition.

The Asus P526 offers a 2G (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900) network for its users. One of the most important components in a smartphone, or any phone for that matter, is its main display, as it’s the only source of navigation. The Asus P526 incorporates a 2.6 inch touchscreen display which with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The phone is highly compatible with 128 channels polyphonic, Midi, MP3 and WMA ringtones which are downloadable as well. It also makes use of microSD (transflash) cards, 128 MB of internal memory and above all a TI OMPA 850 processor which runs at the impressive speed of 200 megahertz. Bluetooth v1.2 is also included to make file transferring hassle-free. The Asus P526 can also be used as an image capturing device, thanks to its integrated 2 megapixel camera. If you are on a strict budget, then it might make sense to opt for this model, otherwise it would be wiser to go more established models and brands.
