By Dean • Nov 11th, 2008 • Category: UncategorizedSony Ericsson’s Walkman range is well known for its versatile models. To continue its series of attractive and innovative gadgets, the company has now announced another phone: the W705. As a mobile Walkman phone, the W705 is a Wi-Fi and DLNA certified device that offers great music and video sources. Additionally, Sony Ericsson has also designed a wireless home audio system that enhances the scope of this shake control phone.
With attributes like TrackID, PlayNow and SenseMe, the W705 can easily be compared to other Sony-Ericsson handsets, like the Sony-Ericsson W980i, in terms of sound quality. While the TrackID is a music recognition application, the PlayNow arena provides access to wallpapers, ring tones and DRM- free music tracks. You can also create your own playlists in accordance with your mood with the SenseMe feature. Moreover, it has a 4 GB memory that is large enough for storing as many as 3900 tracks.
The 2.4- inch screen is perfect for viewing emails and websites. You can also do a direct search of your favourite online music and YouTube videos. Other specifications of W705 include a 3.2 megapixel camera, FM radio and automatic rotation ability.
To further increase the scope of music, you have the MBS-900 that is a mobile audio system for the W705. The easy to use 2.1 audio system and built-in audio receiver are capable of serving you well.
If you are tempted to buy the W705, you will have to wait for its launch in the early 2009 but when it is released you can buy the Sony Ericsson W705 here.
