HP has recently launched its new tablet called the Touchsmart TX2, which features multi-touch controls, just like the Apple iPhone. It’s a convertible device that offers music, files and photo navigation via natural gestures, instead of old styled click and drag operations. You can easily twist the Touchsmart TX2’s screen that is mounted on the standard keyboard.

The Touchsmart TX2 offers a wide range of options that make this 12 inch tablet a versatile one. The Mediasmart 2.0 interface works behind its multi-touch interface. Just like the Hewlett-Packard HP TouchSmart desktop, the tablet PC is filled with high-end specifications and features. This tablet can handle any kind of application. It renders high definition graphics accompanied by crystal clear surround sound effects. It can also handle 3D games and real time applications like Google Earth. In fact, using Google Earth on this machine is lots of fun.

The Touchsmart TX2 features some very high-end specifications for a tablet PC. These include a 2.1GHz AMD Turion X2 CPU, 8GB of RAM, an ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics adapter, 500GB HDD running @ 5400 RPM, Bluetooth, integrated webcam, 8x DVD burner and a VGA out port. A digital pen is also packed with the device which can be used to explore the creativity in you. The HP Touchsmart TX2 weighs only 4.5 pounds. Thus, it’s really very convenient to carry it with you wherever you go.
